Reverse-acting Rupture Disks

A reverse-acting rupture disk typically is a formed (domed) solid metal disk designed to reverse and burst at a rated pressure applied on the convex side.            

Reverse-acting rupture disks are designed to open by such methods as shear knife blades, tooth rings, or scored lines.
